I could not participate at work...HR manager...they kind of expected me to answer questions all day - HOWEVER!!! My daughter was able to particpate, she was really looking forward to showing her support. She said that her teachers were very understanding for the most part - except for her Advanced Placement US History teacher...A large portion of the student body was able to participate and it's a pretty huge school with a couple of thousand kids so this was quite a big day.

Dianne - That is so cool! May I ask what school your daughter goes to? You can PM me the answer so it's not "public." I wonder - would she talk to me about it so I can write an article?
