One of my favorite Irish poets is William Butler Yeats. I love that he was a mystical thinker and yet made such an impact on Irish history.
He's a bright spirit, all right.

Thanks so much for putting up the link, Phyllis.
I'm a bit rusty at the protocols, but I'll soon figure it all out again.<G>
I was visiting your site yesterday. It's just lovely.

Thanks, Mary. The posting of links rules have changed. Check with your trainer on posting links.
I love the culture sites. I am part Irish and love to write about the Irish folklore and mythical legends.
I also loved your article on the Banshee.

OMG! The Banshee.<G>
I had an aunt who told the best banshee stories in the world---bedtime stories for small children, mind you. The howling and wailings were magnificent. We'd all be shivering under the covers. Yep, Auntie Peg knew her banshees.

Your Auntie Peg sounds like my Father. He used to tell us tales that kept us glued to our chairs, afraid to go out after dark. But, was it not William Butler Yeats who wrote: "You will with the Banshee chat and find her good at heart."?

Yes, it was Yeats who said that. I just found my article I wrote on the Banshee awhile ago and that quote is in there. Banshee of Lament Oh! - I am going to have so much fun chatting with you and reading your articles, Mary!
