What's your favorite Easter Beer?
When I make my Easter Ham, I spice it with cloves and a brown sugar glaze. I used to make the glaze with Brown Sugar, Orange Juice, nutmeg, cinnamon, ground cloves, ground mustard, and paprika. Now I use Hefeweizen (with it's banana-clove flavors) or witbier (with its orange-coriander flavors) in place of the orange juice and it 'wows' the palate. Hefe or wit bier accompanies the meal really well, too. It is great with the starting salad, and sings through the meal. Then I switch to a more assertive Rodenbach Grand Cru to go with my chocolaty dessert.
