This is the chronology of the AIG mess...

1.) Congress signs into law an 1,100 page bill that none of them have read. A footnote in the bill authored by Senator Chris Dodd exempted AIG from any caps on bonuses that were in place before February 11th.
(Geitner oversaw the formation of the AIG bonuses before becoming Secratary of Treasury)

2.) Barny Fwank and a couple of Congressmen become outraged over the bonuses. They demand action.

3.) Obama gives speeches where he says he cannot speak he is so angry. He is filled with anger. He also repeats his catchphrase of, "I inherited this mess."

4.) (It is not reported that AIG funneled $30BILLION dollars into foreign banks. I guess laundered would be a better word than funneled- instead, Congress is telling us to be outraged over 126 million.)

5.) It is found out that Chris Dodd added the amendment. He is questioned and denies it.

6.) The next day, he admits that he did, but it was because of pressure from the president and Geitner.

7.) Obama gives a speech where he says the Buck stops here. He says he didn't do it, but he'll take responsibility. He inherited the mess and he'll fix it.

If a child breaks a lamp and then says, "I didn't do it, but I take full responsibility." Isn't the child essentially denying it?

The lesson to all of this is as follows:

a.) DO NOT SIGN A BILL INTO LAW YOU HAVE NOT READ AS IT WILL HAVE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY KNOW ABOUT

b.) You want these fools running your health care?
