Judie, I wanted to tell you "GOOD JOB" on what I could see of your leaf quilt. I don't recall how many leaves you said there were, but 'Are You Blind yet'? Do you know how many different greens you used? cool

I did love what I could see of the rest of the quilt as well. whistle

Thanks GrannyH, I just posted that little bit of the quilt for now, I'll wait till it's quilted before I publish it to my bella readers. There are 83 different green fabrics, 740 leaves and 132 berries.

I'm not blind yet, just a little silly I think.
Cheerio for now

Hi butterflywing. I don't think there is a 'Photo gallery' here at BellaO, at least I've not seen it. There is a way to post photos, but I've never tried. The photo of Judie's quilt that I mentioned is in her article about 'Quilt Top Preparation' which can be found at the quilting website. You should check it out.

Hi everyone, I've just arrived home after collecting my "Taken Leaf of my Senses" quilt from the professional quilter and WOW WOW WOW, am I every happy with the result. Kathy Adams really is an artist with her long arm quilter. She has quilted very densly, which really suits this type of quilt. I also was able to see in real life the various quilts that she has on her website; they're absolutely marvellous!! I'll be writing an article about Kathy Adams soon, so keep watching out for that.

Can't wait to show my quilt in August at the State Fair and again in October for the State Guild Show.

I'll write an article about the making of this quilt and will include photos then. Just had to share with all my lovely Bellaonline quilters and let you know how happy I am with it.
Cheerio for now

I can not wait to see this finished quilt. The glimpse we got was WONDERFUL. I wish I could do that kind of work, but I know without too much thought, that ain't gonna happen. LOL, at least I know my limitations.
