BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies Sci Fi/Fantasy Movies Who's Watching "The Watchmen"?

OK - so is anybody here as excited about this movie as I am?!?

I can't go see it at the midnight showing tonight because my husband is out of town on business, but I am going to do everything I can to get to it while the kids are in school tomorrow!!!

My dad is my main sci-fi-action movie date these days and his one big request to me about movies is "no midnight showings." After all, he does turn 70 this fall.

When we saw THE DARK KNIGHT last summer, a trailer for the Watchmen played before it. He'd never heard of the Watchmen before, but noticed that just about everyone in the theater sat up and made excited noises when it ran. Then he leaned over to me and whispered "we're on for whatever that is when it comes out."

We have tickets for the 2:15pm IMAX showing Friday afternoon.

OK - I'm going to do 2 articles on this movie a review and a warning to parents!

1st off let me say - I LOVEDZ the movie. I told my husband (who is finally home - YAY!) that this is the best film I have ever seen across any genre. It a A-freakin-Mazing!!!!

It Is NOT child or teen friendly in any sense. I have no idea how they managed to swing an "R" rating on this.
