With so many people unemployed, and fewer available jobs, a lot of people are going to need to start thinking about a career change as the market for some goods and services shift to "needs" rather than "wants". Has anyone thought about changing careers in order to find a job? Any luck you would like to share?

I'm researching Virtual Assistants. Many have left jobs to start their own Virtual Assistant business. It's a way to provide a service for those who have to downsize. It's a bigger industry than I first thought.

Yes, I do a bit of that and a bit of affiliate marketing business now too. I bought my affiliate marketing business website builder last year during the Christmas Offer. I blended it in with my Newbie webwriters site and I'm pleased with how it's going.

I think with some companies outsourcing now to save costs, a virtual assistant business seems like an excellent way to go.
By outsourcing companies save on a lot of the "overhead" associated with having a regular employee.
I think there is also a Virtual Assistant association isn't there?
