I'm most definitely a morning person. I'm great from 4:30 am unti about 2 pm, when I start to get tired. Then at 6 pm, I get a little cranky. I'm revived again around 8 pm.

Back when I was younger I used to make the mistake of evaluating my life and making decisions when I was feeling at my absolute lowest. Believe it or not, some decisions are best made when you are feeling pessimistic, but others are not.

In the coming months I'm going to do more research on peak performance and working with moods etc. A few books on very long to-read list are:

The Mood Cure: The 4 Step Program to Rebalance Your Emotional Chemistry by Julia Ross

The Origin of Everyday Moods: Managing Energy by Robert E. Thayer

Peak Performance Living by Joel Robertson

Women's Mood by Deborah Sichel

Achieving Emotional Literacy: A personal program to increase your emotional intelligence by Claude Steiner

Hi Leah,
During the week, I am definitely NOT a morning person. I used to have to leave the house at 6am to get to work by 8. Now I don't have to leave my house until 8:20 to be at work by 8:30 and I'm still dragging. But I stay up later and get a LOT done at night until about midnight. (Which if I stopped staying up late, I could probably get more done during the day :))
At work, I usually hit my stride about 10 until 3.

On the weekends, I am definitely a morning person...I'm up and out of bed by 6am all set to start my day go all day long and stay up late

smile

Early, early morning (4 - 6AM) is my most peaceful time and 6 - 10 AM is my most productive.

I prefer night time. Though I have to admit that I love mornings but very early, it's like that time of day have a different smell and atmosphere.
