BellaOnline Forums Home and Garden Cleaning Did "zone cleaning" work for you?

If you only have a little time zone cleaning works great to make sure that everything gets touched and nothing too out of control.

I do find cleaning relaxing too! But I just have so many other things to do that I try to jam it in and it then isn't relaxing any more.

Like right now I'm madly cleaning because things are a mess and someone is coming over - and I never make time for cleaning! I always have too many other things I am doing instead

I just can't get zone cleaning to work, mostly because I am not deliberately scheduling it into my day. Next week I am going to try at least some cleaning time in my schedule.

I can't get zone cleaning to work either. I wait until things are a complete mess than alot time to clean it up.

Things are a little out of hand here at my house this past week. I've just not felt like doing anything. The paper chase is on right now.

I clean when I'm upset. I find it helps to get all the anger out on -stuff- and when it's done, I feel better for having worked out the anger and the bonus is that the place looks better.

This was great until I suspected my husband of making me angry on purpose just to get the place picked up!

I LOVE to clean. I do it all day long, while I am doing other tasks that are mindless, in between major tasks as fun breaks, and as a meditation in itself. I feel like i can get my mind in order if I can get something clean.

When I had my housecleaning business, it was really enjoyable to do 'one time cleans.' That way I never had to make a relationship with anyone. When I started taking on weekly clients, that's when i started hating the work.

I think i like cleaning better than i like people. lol.
