I think Rian, even with the different spelling, is going to wind up getting confused with a boy's name too often.

My daughter's name is Jordan - I thought that was a girl's name at the time. Now I know it is a go-either-way name, and she hates that fact. She is actually campaigning to try and get me to change her name to her middle name (Alyssa).

I like Emma, Ellie, and Allyson the best.

Runners-up for me are Taryn, Kya and Skye.

Why the strange spellings? Kids with unusual names have a hard enough time of it, without having to then have to spell it to everybody they meet.

Just remember - you choose the name, but your child will have to live with it for the rest of their life.
