Angie,
I hope not... I was up again last night until 3 with those closets AND I had to work today. I think it's because I just couldn't sleep the past few nights.
But the closet's are looking good!!!

good tips... I could definitely use some organizational help and I am also one who falls into the "out of sight, out of mind" trap!

Dianne, I am the same way. if something is not sitting in my view actively bothering me, it's like it doesn't exist. I have read that some people have brains that function this way, and that seems to be us. For us, stacks work better than files, hanging clothes on open hooks works better than drawers or closets...think about the Amish, hanging everything on pegs.

Also, I have a huge blank calendar that I order each year from Flylady. Seriously the thing is gigantic, with lots of white space in each day for writing appointments and to dos. I have this hanging in plain view by the door and have myself trained to check this every morning and night.

I have to SEE things or else they may as well not exist.

I am learning how to put things out in plain view in a workable way. It's not the prettiest solution, but if things are ordered in 'rough categories' they at least get noticed and done.
