I love hot and spicey,esp. chicken or veg. due to lack of cholesterol. I would appreciate recipes with a difference. I grow those little red devils and blend them in with various veg.
like green pepper and garlic. That way they are more flavoursome
than straight heat.

Paprika is one of the main ingredients in goulash. It comes in many varieties and can sometimes be hot. Check the variety and make sure you're using either a sweet paprika or a smoked paprika.

I have a question - a worrying one.

I just read that lots of our favorite spicy foods that are red contain a cancer-causing toxin. This has been banned in UK and USA etc now, but is still getting in, through cheap imported spices and mixes - ie from China etc.

Can affect recipes such as masala, tikka, sweet n sour, barbeque, satay etc.

Any advice?
