Yes, it's just a playful variation for when you are feeling unchallenged by tree pose :-)

I find some days are better than others. Some I can hold a few minutes and others I'm lucky if I can hold it 30s. It's the same with juggling. Some days I'm a machine and other days I'm dropping every two seconds. I think some of it has to do with focus and some of it has to do with moon alignment... smile

LOL maybe the moon is pulling on you like a tide, pulling you off of your balance!

I definitely feel more shaky on some days in general. Maybe it's hormones or maybe it's the really odd sleep schedule I have right now, waking up at 5:30am to drive my son into the train station. It'll all be over with in 2 weeks, and I can go back to sleeping late!

Our balance definitely varies from day to day and moment to moment. It probably has to do with all the things you describe - hormones, diet, sleep quotient, thoughts, and moon alignment! Yoga is really about learning to observe these differences without expectation or judgement.

That would be cool, to see how well I do it each day and chart my sleep and eating for that day. I wonder if I could get it to correlate to my system somehow!
