I think Criss Angel is a great magician/illusionist. Has anybody seen his Cirque du Soleil produced show, Believe at the Las Vegas hotel, Luxor? I watched it a few weeks ago and it is definitely not like MindFreak and this is not your typical Cirque show, it is unlike anything you've seen before. The show is actually a journey through Criss' mind so as you can imagine, it encompasses a lot of different elements and themes. There's magic, good and evil battling each other, even a love story. There's so much to the show, and the whole time you're seeing it all from Criss' perspective. He doesn't just star in it, he actually co-wrote it too. I definitely suggest it to anyone looking for a great time in Vegas

They had one of the dance pieces on the finale of "So You Think You Can Dance" - and it was fabulous!

I liked MindFreak, too.

So this show sounds like a win/win to me.

Now I just have to get back out to Vegas - {sigh}.

Aww I missed the finale of SYTYCD! I'll have to look it up online! Believe is definitely a two thumbs up. I loved the part when Criss' assistant is wearing a wedding dress that goes from the floor to the ceiling and Criss actually walks down the dress completely horizontal to the floor. It blew my mind completely! Don't worry, you'll get to Vegas one of these days...I wanna go back already!

Hubby used to attend a yearly internet/network conference out there called "Interop", and I got to go with him one year. It was fabulous! However, his work no longer pays for that conference - since they now provide one in Atlanta as well as Vegas.

Don't think we can sneak the plane flight, hotel and food bills past them as opposed to a 1 hr gas trip, LOL!

So we get to save up on our own this time. Definitely not as convenient.

I like the masked magician who exposes the magicians' tricks.

Yeah .. Cris Angel ... he is damn good...
I really can't understand how he does all those illusion tricks,,,
He's weird.. but the best!!
