I once used a cleaner for my microwave.
It was a little package that you put in your microwave and as it heated up it opened up and a cleaner came out then there wasa cloth in it that you would clean your microwave with.

I cannot remember the name of this cleaner. Anyone have any ideas of what it is.

I've never seen anything like that. I usually just bring a cup of water to a boil for a few minutes and then wipe the microwave oven clean.

No idea. I do the same thing as Angie and often I add some lemon juice to the water. I bring it to boil in the microwave but then I also let it sit for another 1-2 minutes before wiping it out. Takes out even the most baked on, caked on stuff.

Heather, can't go wrong with this method and it's inexpensive too.

I found a tip that might help. Wet a paper towel and heat in the microwave for 1 minute. When the minute is over use the heated paper towel to wipe down the microwave (be careful the paper towel will be hot).

What I do is get a towel (dish towel size) wet it really good wring it out , don't wring it out all the way, put in microwave for two minutes on high. It creates so much steam you can just wipe clean. For deodorizing make a paste from baking soda & wipe down & go over it with the steamed towel. And don;t worry the towel won't catch on fire.
