Yes, I was thinking of adults and young adults too. It is touching to see the empathy they sometimes have for trusting animals.

Parents can always use dictation strategies, where the young person tells the story first.

Siobhain, that is what the kindergarten teachers do - write out the kids' stories from their dictation and illustration for the story.
