I've been planning this article for a while, but the most recent article listing five handmade gifts for Pagans includes making a polymer clay rune set, so I thought I would create this reference.
Rune Symbols and Meanings.

I loved the article dealing with runes! This is the first symbol I have seen associated with Yngvi-Frey.

I made myself some runes years ago with a book my brother found me in a discount bin at the local book store.

I loved using them and have always recommended them to others because the energy you instill into them by making them yourself makes them that much more usable personally than something you would buy at the store. (and that is nothing wrong with store bought divination tools, I have several off those too)

I found witches runes, developed by Susan Sheppard, and I like them a lot (I bought my first set, but planning on making my own at some point). Their are only 13 runes in my set, and the symbols are more simplistic. But, the readings are more intuitive for me. I also read the book she put out, which I found to be very helpful.

I remember sleeping with mine under the pillow and having them lay on my chest while I watched tv or read a book. This was when I was in my teens, its anyone's guess as to where they are now.
