Here's the link to the newest article on the site, a topic near and dear to my heart: Organzing Books in the Homeschool

Anyone have any other tips? I am always looking for new ways to keep track of our growing book collection. One website I found is Library Thing which lets you create an online library of your collection with tags. So far I've only used it to place book lists on my blog but I'd like to use it more in the future to organize our collection.

We keep a selection of magazines [National Geographic, Scientific American, Newsweek, anything except, maybe, women's magazines :)] on the den coffee table for anyone who wants to peruse them. Older kids and teenagers will pick these up while lolling around for "down time." I know this works because I read the periodicals on my parents' coffee table growing up.

Of course, it helps if the t.v. is off most of the time, but that's another subject!
