Oh, when I saw the posts about Klezmer music I could not restrain myself from posting here:)))))

I always thought that Jazz is not for me... but I always loved Klezmer! 2 years ago I went to a concert within Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow (where I live) that was called 'Jazz Klez Session'. It is each year led by Paul Brody (English Jazz musician) and each year different musicians take part in the project. It is SOOO fantastic!

I found one video - from the concert that I went to last Summer - on youtube. Is this reedplayer really so good or it is only me who as thrills when listening?:) or maybe it's because I saw it live:)

Anyway, greetings to everybody who thinks that Jazz and Klezmer are wonderful combination!

Thanks so much for posting Barbara! (Never restrain yourself, haha!)
Yes it sounds like it would be a strange combination of music but I find that it REALLY works too - I love it!
Thanks for that video too - it is not just you, he is fantastic!!!

That sounds like a most excellent plan and I am envious! (In a nice way of course!)

Tell me, what is the drink of choice in a cosy, Krakow pub? :>

hmm, drink of choice? I think beer is the most common - especially when listening to such a concert. The pub that I am talking about - Alchemia - that by the way holds many Jazz projects, has very small cellar. The most popular concerts there are attended by loads of people... so it's actually hard to drink anything when standing in such a crowd:)

But in the upper part you can choose ANYTHING!:) from Polish vodka to hot chocolate:)
