Oh dear, a friend of mine has been visiting New York from London a lot, and is now thinking of moving there to live/study/work - but I hate flying!

I would,however, love to visit the US,particularly New York - it will have be a cruise for me I'm afraid! Sounds like fun, an excuse to do nothing except read all those books/see those movies you got round to... etc etc.

I've been looking them up! Are they really expensive? Collecting recommendations, experiences here .......

London To New York - how long does it take from London, and what is it like?

Seasickness is a really big issue for me! I can't imagine paying for something,a holiday, and then not feeling well!

Also, how long can you remain in New York before returning to London?
