Motrin released their new ad - just in time for babywearing week. Have you seen it Nicki? Link to the commercial, and my response of outrageBellaOnline ALERT: Raw URLs are not allowed in these forums for security reasons. Please use UBB code. Yeah, I've been tracking this mostly on my yahoo groups, although I just finally understood the twitter thing. The babywearing issue doesn't concern me as much as the notion that doing "trendy" things is important because it makes us "look" like and "official" mom. What a moronic and insulting ad concept. Add to that the very American notion of just taking a pill rather than fixing the problem (which for babywearing is actually pretty easy, compared to some things you might actually need to take motrin for).

Glad it's been pulled.

"Babywearing is the practice of wearing or carrying a baby or child in a sling or other form of carrier. Babywearing is far from new and has been practised for centuries around the world"

Hey all,

It's been a while since this happened, but I was just trying to get caught up in the forums and thought I should ad a link to the article I eventually wrote on this topic in the Early Childhood Site --

Lessons From the MotrinMoms Ads

Nicki :-)
