I have decided to make a conscious choice and for now on only to purchase such products. I find if cosmetic giants from Estee Lauder, MakeupForever, bonnebell, and Revlon can be cruelty free I think all can.

So as much as i loved Oil of Olay I will no longer purchase this product or L'oreal.

Does knowing that a product is not tested on animals affecting your purchasing?

Yeah i agree with you buddies the products should not be animal products..... they say that this brand that brand but i need ah good quality which should not spoil my skin....

I love animals! I think it is really sad that companies test on them. If you go to www.petamall.com you can find a bunch of cruelty free online stores.

Cruelty free products are important to me. I didn't know Oil of Olay was tested on animals. I use Avon because they stopped animal testing some time ago.

Robin, Thanks for sharing the link to the Caring Consumer website. Their database allows you to look up different brands in order to find out whether or not they test on animals. Great resource! Fortunately, my makeup base (Bare Escentuals) does not test on animals.

I found L A Colors at my llocal Dollar Tree - not only did the lipsticks, etc cost only $1 - they last and they are NOT tested on animals!!
