This Thanksgiving is a good time to reflect on the wonderful things in your life, and to give thanks for those things by lending a hand to those in need of a little happiness. My children and I are going grocery shopping to help feed the hungry. What are you doing?

I'm participating in a toy drive with my sister. The toys will be donated to Variety the Children�s Charity, Angels Place, the Early Learning Institute and the Salvation Army.

Way to go Jellyfish! Toy drives are wonderful ways to help little ones enjoy the holiday. Of course, Toys for Tots is a huge annual campaign and you'll see drop-offs just about everywhere for it. But, it is nice to go beyond and donate directly to some local charities who may not necessarily receive donations from the larger campaigns.

We collected 6,011.50 in donations, bought toys with all of it and delivered the toys this past weekend. It iwas a huge success!

Its a healthy practice to feel grateful not only during Thanksgiving Day but everyday.
