Orson Scott Card has apparently been involved in the creation of the merchandising of the whole gaming/publishing/entertainment package of his Empire book from day one - and Marvel comics and entertainment took up his Ender's Game concept too.

What age would anyone suggest these books are suitable for? And for young people being encouraged to explore books..... should it be 'let them read anything as long as they're reading?'

The book will be available soon, November will presumably be the optimum time in terms of Christmas purchasing.
