Okay, we have a good list going. I agree with Phenomenon with John Travolta. Definite tear power. Here's the List. Maybe we could vote for the all time biggest tear jerker.

1. Bridge to Terabithia
2. Terms of Endearment
3. Steel Magnolias
4. On Golden Pond
5. Beaches
6. Love Story
7. Notebook
8. The Goodbye Girl
9. Murphy's Romance
10. Dave
11. Little Man Tate
12. Mr. Holland's Opus

Any others?

I watched "August Rush" four times in one weekend and cried every time.

This movie makes us hope we have married "that" man, right. Gosh it was a beautiful story and makes us also think that we are not mortal and that anything can happen to us.

I saw Love Story when I was a teenager, and of course so did all the other girls I knew, we all had plenty to talk about and we were all looking for Ryan O'Neil to date!!

If I had to vote for my #1 tear jerker it would be "The Goodbye Girl", but I must admit I always get teary-eyed at the end of "Dave". Every time I watch it tears come to my eyes at the End when the big Secret Service man turns to Dave as he says goodbye and tells Dave "I would have taken a bullet for you".

Hey, I've been out of touch for a few days. Looks like some new flicks made the list!

Oh, yes, that's why Terms of Endearment is high on my list for runny mascara movies. I don't think I added "The Philadelphia Story" with Tom Hanks. Yes, I know, I'm a Christian, but how can one not watch this movie and not break down? And who can say one bad thing about Tom Hanks? He is one of the best actors ever!

I've never seen August Rush. What's it about? I might need to get it on DVD for the weekend.

You must see it. I don't want to give much away. A boy is separated from his parents who are musicians. He inherits their musical ability and the music leads him on a fantastic journey.....

I'm gonna see if I can get it right now! Now that I think about it, I saw something about it but I can remember what it was. The story line is intriguing. Thanks. b.
