If you are like me, then you probably really miss Karm and all of her wonderful topics on this mystery board. I was really sorry to see that she no longer heads the group. (Karm, you are missed!)

It was apparent that Karm did a lot of work to make this board a place where all posters felt welcome. I was always impressed that everyone got a reply... She never left someone just "hanging out there" after they had posted something...making the poster feel like their post was actually going to be read, and not just posted "in space" (the internet) forever and a day. Good work, Karm!

AND, THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE WORK YOU PUT INTO MAKING THIS A WONDERFUL FORUM!

Yes, her forum was always bright and lively - and she contributed positively to other peoples forums too - we had some funny debates lol !

Never mind, there are still lots of mystery books to talk about! Any good ones coming out for Christmas?

I want to add these to the two Christmas mysteries that Straycat listed (Rita Mae Brown: Santa Clawed... the 17th in the Mrs. Murphy Mystery Series AND Mignon F. Ballard: Hark! The Herald Angel Screams... the 7th in the Augusta Goodnight Mystery Series)

Donna Andrews: Six Geese A-Slaying (This will be the 10th in the Meg Langslow Mystery Series)

Anne Perry: A Christmas Grace (This will have a Thomas & Charlotte Pitt tie-in, and is in Perry's Christmas Mystery Series)

Anne Perry: Anne Perry's Christmas Mysteries (This will include both A Christmas Guest & A Christmas Secret)

Elaine Viets: Murder with All the Trimmings (This will be the 4th in the Josie Marcus, Mystery Shopper Mystery Series)

Also, there is a new Halloween mystery that is out...

Ellen Hart: Sweet Poison (This will be the 17th in the Jane Lawless Mystery Series)

JD Robb's next book in the "In Death" series, "Salvation in Death", is supposed to be out this month, I think.

I've been reading Paul Christopher's books. They are a cross between Indiana Jones and the Da Vinci Code. Fun reads.
