Absolutely, as Robin said. It's too obvious and looks a bit desperate. smile

I guess we should mention that collagen injections are an option. Not something I would personally do, but maybe for some people it does the trick.

If someone DID choose to get this kind of work done, I would warn one not to go overboard. Get just enough to look naturally full. Not enough to look fake, or weird.

This probably goes for all plastic surgery work, eh?

I've learned a lot reading all the entries of this forum. My husband and I both have been referred to as the "little lip" family. I never thought much of it until I started watching botox injections on Dr. 90210. In many cases the results were dramatic. When I go to cosmetic counters I get the same story from cosmetic artists telling me that my upper lip disappears so they always draw a thick line with a lip liner around my mouth to bring out my lips!

I guess I came on to defend thin lips because personally I feel there is nothing wrong with having thin lips. If you have them, it's just a part of your make-up (who you are). My husband says little thin lips are sexy. So if you're feeling insecure about your little thin lips - don't be.

That's all I have to say. Sorry if I made anyone mad. Didn't mean to stifle the conversation, just felt like I had to defend a natural born feature. Small thin lips are very beautiful! smile

I am totally with you Deb. Lips are lips - we eat with them, talk with them, kiss with them. They are all pretty. Right now we are going through a 'plump lip' phase in our society - but it wasn't always like that. I don't see how any lip thickness is sexier than another.

To me, what is sexy are healthy lips. Lips that are not dry and peeling. Soft and moist is nice (yay for lip balm!). Color can be appealing too. Or just clean and healthy, ready to go natural lips. smile
