One of the "Original Kings of Comedy" is dead due to complications from pneumonia.

Oh, man....I knew it didn't look good for him from what I was reading....

I just turned on my computer and saw the headline. I hadn't heard he was sick, so was totally shocked when I saw this.

He was so young and vibrant!

It really proves that we never know when our time is going to come.

I knew he was in the hospital, but would never have dreamed he'd die of pneumonia at 50. I enjoyed his comedy; he was often able to make me laugh with just his facial expressions.

Oh dear. I have not been paying attention. It's October now and I didn't even know he had died. Where have I been?

So sad to see you go Bernie. You were priceless.

There is so much to miss - he had a way about him that came right through the TV and movie screen. Everything about him snapped right out at you, didn't it?

He was original and rare, but belonged everywhere.
