I have a lot of facial hair on my chin, upper lip and sides of face--I do not like this at all--being a girl with all this facial hair is embarrassing. I tried hair removal cream but it made my skin very sensitive & uncomfortable for several days. I have used an electric razor on my chin & upper lip for a while now but its getting so thick and I have stubbles just like a man. Please someone tell me what to use!! Thanks--Dolly

I think the only thing is laser permanent hair removal although I haven't tried it. As I've aged (menopause) I've grown chin hair, moustacheetc. I have had no luck with electrolysis on my chin although I did around my nipples. Plucking them is a bad idea. Eventually the hair weakens and then doesn't come through the skin properly causing a pimple like sore. The more often you do it the tougher the skin becomes for that hair and eventually the hairs grown in. So I have always got sores on my chin. Yet the hairs actually feel like splinters until I get them ouot.

I have to admit, I just shave the hairs off. I know a friend that got her face burned by that laser stuff.

I suggest waxing. I have many clients who have their faces waxed every 3 or 4 weeks. They have no problems with sores or reddness. The only problem is that, If you have shaved, you must let the hair grow long enough so that the wax can grab hold of it.

What I usually do is bleach. I have some hair on my upper lip, but ever since the 5th grade I've been using Sally Hansen's bleach and it works perfectly. If I don't want any hair whatsoever, I use Sally Hansen's wax. It hurts a bit at first, but then you get used to it. The bleach and wax work great. Shaving definitely is not a good idea, it's given you those manly results.
Try it, it works!

I shave it all. One day I hope to have enough money to get rid of it all by electrolysis (am doing my eyebrows like this and it is working perfectly)!
