very nice article. This is the season to start scrying if you have not done it before. I find it keeps me sustained thru the coming dark season.

Thank you Ravyn. Do you have a preferred method that you use?

I started scrying as a child with my mom's glass paperweights! (she had one in particular that was clear glass with black smoke swirls in it that worked the best.) My sister used to 'polish' the black toilet seat and talk to her reflection in it as a toddler--LOL. I would use a crystal ball if I could afford a decent sized one, but usually I use a plain vanity mirror (not black--it is in a brass frame that tilts with a little lip on the base big enough to hold a tealight candle--bought it at a Dollar Store.) I do it in a dark room and stare at my own reflection. It can get a little spooky--sometimes I see swirling smoke(more than from the candle), sometimes my reflection changes-especially my eyes. This achieves a trance and I get images in my head, I suppose (not really sure if I see it in the mirror or not...)I have also scryed into a fire and a still pool of water in the dark.
