Anybody here using the Knifty Knitter looms? I love them. Everything goes so fast. I'm working on scarves for Christmas.

There is a woman in my knitting guild who uses one and they are great! How long does it take to make a scarf?

I can get a scarf done in two evenings just in front of the tv. They're fast and fun.

I will definitely consider one for this year's year-end knitting projects.

I took a quick course at the local Joann's craft store. I am also going to work with the circular Knifty Knitter and do some leg warmers.

I've got one of the square looms and haven't tried it yet. I was thinking it would be a good size for afghan squares. Have you used a square loom for this, and how does the time compare to using needles?

I also picked up one of those little knitting machines from the 60's. I was amazed the darn thing worked pretty good. But it's very specific and not versatile. Does anyone have any project ideas for this? Thanks for any suggestions.

Does anyone have pictures of the items created? Or when complete do they look just like hand knit or machine knit? I suspect they do.

Here are some that I did a few years ago:

This is the only kind of knitting I know how to do, LOL! These I did flat - going back and forth when I got to the end of each row.

And last year I did several in my daughter's cheerleading team colors (black, silver, & white) using those funky yarns, but I did them in the full circle so they looked like those "magic scarves" . They turned out great! I'll have to take a pic of Jordan's when I pull out the winter clothes this year.
