LOL, Michelle! I feel kinda like I'm back in high school, being picked for basketball in gym class! (I'm a 4'11", 98 pounder...you guess who was never picked for the team!)

Yeah, I wish there were a way to anonymously give ourselves labels in this forum format...it would be a very, very interesting study. Which would be the most fair way to attain a label, to choose one ourselves, or to ask three of our closest friends (because we know they would be honest) how they would label us, and hand it in for the "contest" (would they all give the same "label??) or would it be from someone in our community, who didn't really know us, but has formed an image...?

In regards to your earlier post, yes, it's about labels. I think this exercise not only forces us to examine our core values, it also reflects upon our judgement on each name... or stereotype. Even though we all know that stereotype is often wrong, sadly, in a survival situation, we are forced to rely on what we know even though what we know might not be even close to the truth.

Yeah, I too wish there was a way to run an anonymous exercise on the forum. I bet we can get some fascination answers.

I would most likely leave the pregnant teen, beggar and business man at home.

Me reasons for taking the others are pretty much what others have already said - the cop for protection, the ex con, because, well, maybe he's hot like Sawyer from "Lost."

I am glad you are a Lost fan as well. When I was asked to participate in this exercise, the first thing that came into my mind was the TV show Lost. Nah, I don't think our exercise crew in this case will look as hot as Sawyer and Jack.

LOL! Unfortunately, as you said, no one can look as great as the Lost crew on TV given that they don't have the access to shower facilities, hair dryers, hair gel, professional makeup....etc. Not to mention about the rotten teeth!

No, not necessary. I never once think that those people are all males as I have seen plenty of females in those professions. Do you think they are mostly males?

That is a very good question that Rosie brought up. I must admit that I had an image of those titles being male - that really shocks me that I thought that!
