How do you pronounce the g in each of the conjugations of dirigir?

Hard g or other? The present for yo is dirijo.

I am a part time student? can be translated as:

"Soy un /una estudiante a tiempo parcial"

But, in fact "a tiempo parcial" is used when talking about work:

"trabajo a tiempo parcial".

We could also say:

"Estudio y... (trabajo, soy ama de casa...)"

Saying you study and also have other occupations.

The verb "dirigir" is always pronounced with a "hard" g, even when the first person sing. (yo) is written with "j". This "hard" g sounds like English "h" (in "house", for example) but much more stronger.

I picked up a book on verbs and it introduced some "characters" to help you learn the verbs.

The sentence read: Soy estudiante y al mismo tiempo trabajo en lo que sea. I am a part time student and I work at odd jobs.

I couldn't quite figure out how they came to that translation. Sometimes here, you can be a full-time student and work at odd jobs.

Is the translation poetic license?

Eh.... Maybe! To tell you the truth, the translation "Soy estudiante", by itself, cannot be translated as "partime student". But they also have that "y al mismo tiempo" ("at the same time") which implies that person is doing both activities, studying and working. But, anyway, using my modest English, I wouldn't have translated it that way.

And, here in Spain, students are most of the times full-time too! I guess the "partime" word "a tiempo parcial" is mostly used when talking about work, not about studies.

Maybe this doesn't sound "very English" but I would try something like:

"Soy estudiante y al mismo tiempo trabajo en lo que sea."
"I am a student and I work at odd jobs at the same time."

It depends on the context, but I guess it could be something like: "No es asunto tuyo".

Well, I'll try! :-)

"Without touching his heart, Fernando finished with Rosario and Armando lives, who had betrayed him"

Does it sound English?? :-D

Aqu tambin hace mucho fro! Y el jueves tuvimos un poco de nieve.

(It is also very cold here! And we had some snow last Thursday)

"Llueve" first "ll" sounds like "y" in "you" on in "young".

Ah! Cero grados! Esto es 0C
