Think your child isn't interested in history? Mine certainly say they aren't and that it isn't fun- yet they can't get enough of the London dungeon on Tooley St near London Bridge.

Victorian London history, buildings, sights and sounds all abound here - but its very dark, realistic and unexpected so think twice about taking kids under 12,although they are admitted.More notes on our newest London blog:

Interesting. I also agree the London dungeon is not suitable for younger children. I don't know if Burke and Hare exibits are still there, but that would be dark considering its a wallet made out of one of their skins..............Enough of that I will be covering it in a historic piece soon.........

Thanks for the comment Bellashorts, your London article will be interesting to those who fancy a visit. You can also check out my one if you like below.

Also if visiting for the historic, ie Red bus, top hats, etc, check this one out; It lets you know if what you have come to see is still there.....!

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum chamber of horrors was a place I remember that scared me as a child. Is it still as creepy?

Yes Nicola - your London article was certainly fun and comprehensive and you have inspired me to visit the Tower of London! (As we are enjoying 'The Tudors' drama at the moment! Thank-you.
My latest one is a tip for making space in London sightseeing for finding walks in london's less known open spaces. Some are even used for fun events too such as fun fairs, circus shows and carnivals.
