You can use curry powder and btw you can sub your peas w/ any veg that has the color and texture you desire.

I adjusted the article to reflect that.

Adding curry -powder will make it taste rich. I tried the recipe & ate it as a side dish with butter-nan. I think it can be eaten with bread also.
