On behalf of all fellow tree-frogs, thank you phyllis
Those little guys have brought many of slumbers and relaxing dusks on the porch contemplating simplicity.
I'll say that the association with killing living things and the enjoyment of, is pretty much like everything else. Especially with kids, when they get a taste of something, they begin thinking, "hmmmmmmmmmm" after awhile. "This is kinda boring. What would happen w/my sisters hamster??" etc.
The kids that liked killing things, that I grew up w/, (and you knew them too, it was ritualistic and they created other typed of trouble) ended up really odd growing up. There seems to be a coalition with respect somewhere in there that carries over into adulthood, especially in taking life. It's a rush of some kind whether parents want to deal w/that or not. Kids don't just do something exciting and go o.k. I'm done. They look for something to top it. Even adults for that matter, really.
Thanks for speaking for the non-verbal.
