I got to thinking about the past and remembering all the crazy and wacky things I had growing up that entertained me. Zap your brain and come up with things from your childhood, or teen years that were wild and crazy, off the chart, or simply a sign of the times. I'll start...

I had a pet rock (everyone had one) and a long hairy blob that hung on a spring from the ceiling over my bed so that I could play with it at night. smile

I had a Ringo Starr Beatle doll. I had forgotten about it, Deb. Thanks for reminding me.

Ringo Starr Beatle doll. That's funny Helen. You should have kept that one, it may have been worth a bit in 2008. he he he

That made me think of my knee high black patent leather go go boots. I wore them everywhere. Even with my girl scout uniform. I thought I was baaad.

I had troll dolls with wild colored hair - green, orange, purple, multi-colored and the longer the hair the better. Anyone else remember them? They were popular in the 1960's...

I still have a troll doll. It's so cute.
Also had some fish net stockings to wear on special occasions. It always left an imprint on my knees when I sat down too long which was real hard since I hated wearing a dress.

I had a little Kewpie doll and several "story book" dolls all in their original boxes! Wish I had them now.

Yes, I had 2 troll dolls, also. One with bright green hair and one with hot pink hair. What a blast from the past!

Shoot, I can't believe I forgot about the Troll Dolls I too had. I loved those little creatures! I collected them in every color as well.

Seems like somethings are timeless, came before us and continue to today's generation. Like....

Hula Hoop
Silly Putty
Etch-A-Sketch
Slinky
Link-n-Log
Cap Guns
Barbie Doll

to name a few
