Just have to share - my husband let me get a new camera for my birthday (well - he wanted to get me a new camera but decided he better let me pick it out). I am in LOVE with this camera. So far the only thing I've really been testing it out on is trying to get some good photos of our gerbils which move very quickly so I got to test the sports feature and continuous shot.

Don't you LOVE a new camera!
I bought myself a Canon Powershot SX100 for Christmas last winter and have been besotted with it ever since. It is SO much better than my old digital camera, which had been very good when I got it, but all of the little shortcomings that annoyed me with the old one have been fixed with the new Canon. Best of all is the anti-wobble feature, that lets me take 40x photos of birds and get every feather clear and sharp.
I could rave on, but will let you go to enjoy your new toy, Angela. And Happy Birthday!

I'm so glad to hear you've been enjoying your cameras! There's nothing like a new camera to reignite a passion for photography. I'd just love to see some of your photos you've taken so far Angela, and what feature are you most enjoying on your new Canon?

Claybird, I'd also love to see those photos of the birds, do post some if you can, are they your favourite subject to photograph?
