I have heard of spa treatments using wine but not coffee. Interesting. I buy this great Texas Pecan coffee in beans at Costco and grind it myself. It's really good.
Used to buy Starbucks beans at Costco but they recently went from about $12 for 3 lbs to about $24 for the same bag. Time to switch!

They also do spa treatments with chocolate - in fact, Hershey's has an exclusive chocolate spa in PA. It was spotlighted in Paula Deen's newest chocolate cooking magazine.
I'll definitely be doing a chocolate fragrance article!!
Spa with wine...hmmmm....

If I need a sweet boost--usually in the mornings I take my coffee with 1-2 sugars and cream, half-n-half or non-dairy creamer--not milk. If I want a coffee boost, I take it black. (I love espresso and Greek-style with no sugar.) The only way I ever use milk is in iced coffee (w/wo sugar) and I NEVER use just sugar without lightening it. --I know I am picky.
I love the hazelnut and almond and coconut, and chocolate is a classic. I am not thrilled with the new berry flavors, unless it starts with chocolate. I like a good Mexican coffee with a touch of cinnamon when I eat a big breakfast.
My fave is Gevalia brand, Starbucks is a little too heavy/bitter for me. I found out that Nescafe and Taster's Choice Instants are from Sweden too and I use them when I am too lazy to brew a whole pot. Taster's Choice reminds me of my nanna.
I LOVE Cuban coffees and they are usually ground for espresso and cheaper in the stores--but they brew up smooth and rich! Chock Full O'Nuts is my favorite US brand. I really can't stand Folger's--it has an odd taste to me.

At work, we deal with a company that has Joffrey's coffee. The "Hazelnut" is a good one and everyone is just crazy about "Jamaican Me Crazy".

I take my French Vanilla cream and sugar with a bit of coffee. lol I was buying my coffee from my pastor at church as he is part owner of a coffee plantation in Guatemala and Guatemalan coffee is the best I have ever tasted. It has a nice smooth mellow taste to it. It is only five dollars a pound as well.

A cheap and easy way to get a fabulous cup of coffee is to sprinkle cinnamon on the coffee grinds before you brew a pot. A few drops of almond extract work well too.

hello everyone, this is for you if you are interested.
Do you make your own flavored coffee?
Postby Noentrobcap on Thu Jul 15, 2010 8:19 am
I do it and it's really good if you are on a budget or simple don't want to spend money on all those flavored coffees or capsules. And best of all your ingredients are all natural. Can I give you some suggestions? All the recipes are made by placing the additional ingredient together with the ground coffee.
Chocolate: add 1 tsp pure cocoa Cinammon: Between 1/4 tsp to 1 tsp. Ginger: Beware, it's strong, try a pinch the first time and then adjust depending on personal tastes.
These three are basically those that I use. There are other choices such as: adding 1 whole clove, 1 peppercorn, or any spice you may think of.
Of course this is not for everyday coffee, but from time to time I like a variation... If the flavored coffee is to be made more often, one can premix it and keep it packaged.
