Now that you have your goals organized on a list, how do you track them? Do you cross items off the list? Manage an Outlook list on your computer? Make post-it notes on your desk?

I have small yellow legal pads that I write things on, cross them off and then recycle the paper. Maybe not efficient but it works for me. I also use Outlook for more long term projects.

I am using this forum to track them. I also have my posts printed out and I review them during the day and even when waiting in life at the post office and such, just to remind myself to stay on target and not get sidetracked.

I have a productivity partner as well, and we email and IM about what we've accomplished on a regular basis, to cheerlead and suggest ideas.

I also reuse paper scraps for my daily to-dos and then recycle them.

That's great on the productivity partner, I imagine that's extremely helpful!

Yes, we email and IM each other about what we're going to do that day, what we have done lately. It's very helpful. I recommend everyone do this with a friend who is also overwhelmed with to dos.

Also DH recently set me up with a 2Do list on the computer that I use just for business stuff. So this keeps my work and life lists separate - i have my personal to dos on paper scraps and the computer related stuff on the computer. It's nice to keep the lists separated - less mental clutter.

I have my priorities, five year goals and one year goals all printed on one sheet of paper pinned up by my desk. I review them often that way.

I'm gonna start another thread for updates.
