Just today - who is your hero?

Today my hero is Jilly!! She has been handling the press releases and "empty site" email for me - and I'm really able to catch up on my mail now! It is so wonderful not to have a backlog of 1400 messages to deal with - I'm down under 100!!

Thanks Jilly for helping me regain my sanity smile

How cool!

I like the idea of a hero for a day. And, today, I have to say Jilly, too. I was just telling Kristen tonight how productive Jilly is being lately, and she's inspiring me to focus on my own goals. Her progress reports are motivating and kind of little "reminders" that I need to get to work, too!

My hero for the day is my mum! She helped me in a situation earlier in the way that only she can.

My hero today is a little girl who we met through our local Autism support group. Her name is Courtney. She came to my daughter's b'day party today. Her mom said this was her first time doing an outing like this by herself and she did great! She got right in there with all the other girls and never showed the least bit of shyness or need to "regroup" at all.

I think the only person that even had any idea that she had Asperger's was my daughter. No-one else would have ever guessed. My husband was even surprised when I told him.

My hero today is Lisa Shea - hey! that rhymes!

Lisa helps me to keep on track and to try harder to resolve my own concerns without losing control of my own creativity. She inspires me because of her dedication and energy and creativity.

My second hero today is my younger sister who is doing a wonderful favor for me! She is so thoughtful.

My hero today is my son. He is the city's pool manager and a life guard and encouraged me to go buy some swim goggles, a new suit and get back in the pool and swim laps for the first time in 15 years. I swam yesterday because I made a promise to him and I didn't want to let him down. Now I have the fever and have put swimming on my calendar. I'm so happy I achieved this new goal. (I guess this should go on the goal forum). smile
