When you eat healthy food, your body begins to crave healthy food (just like it craves sugar and chocolate).

Even if you just eat 1 healthy item per day (piece of fruit, steamed broccoli, brown rice, etc). Getting those nutrients into you blood creates a healthy enviornment that your body will try and keep, and it will crave more of that healthy food!

It really works!

I totally agree! The more you eat healthy foods, the less you will want sugar, fats, etc.

One reason people overeat is that their body is craving proper nutrition and the junk food they are eating is not giving them the necessary nutrients so they just keep eating more and more to satisfy the craving.

once you are eating healthy food and giving your body what it needs, the cravings stop.

I find grapes, orange wedges, or other juicy fruits to satisfy sweet cravings. When berries or pineapple are in season they are great too- when they're not in season I get them frozen.

Try mixing fresh fruit in with some non-fat vanilla yogurt and you'll have a delightfully sweet and healthy treat!

I don't crave sweets as much as I crave salty/spicy stuff, such as chips. What is a good alternative to these cravings? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!
