does any one know where i can get some police patches, out store is out and the ones i wanted are discontuned..

I just took a look at scoutstuff.org (the online Boy Scout store), and I saw they had a Fire Station Visit emblem listed there, but not one for a Police Station Visit. I'm pretty sure I've seen a Police Station Visit one at my local BSA store in the past, though.

I just talked to the Cub area at the national office (I didn't know much about your request). I was told that there are fire and police patches that are available for Cub Scouts who have visited these facilities. They are unofficial patches that can be worn on a sash or other location, but are not to be part of the official uniform. They say that these are available through the "Learning for Life"- formerly Explorers, but no one answered that extension. I'll try to find out more about that for you tomorrow.

thanks, i know that they are not part of the uniform, but that they are fun to have, and my boys like something special to show that they have been there.. they did have the police ones, but they are all discontinued, i was hoping someone one have some that they wanted to get rid of....

I just spoke with Jamie Shearer, the Cub Scout Director, and he suggested the Scoutstuff.org page as Leslie had suggested. Like her, I found the Fire Station visit, but not a police one. So it seems that they are discontinued and getting one from another source is going to be your best bet.
