Back on Sunday, Cartoon Network aired a marathon leading up to the "lost episode" of Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. However, "lost episode" is a misnomer, since the episode already aired in Australia prior to this marathon.
The first story in the episode was "May I Have This Ed," where the Eds learn a school dance is coming up. Double D is terrified to go, while Eddy really wants to go. Eddy digs out a book of his brother's titled, Dames, Dates, and You, in the hope of getting tips on how to get a date for the dance. Ed goes along for the ride, but isn't really all that interested in getting a date for the dance. This episode gives a hint as to who Nazz has a crush on (which is apparently an important plot point in the upcoming Ed, Edd 'n Eddy movie scheduled for release later this year).
The second story in the "lost episode" is called Look Before You Ed. It's wintertime in Peach Creek, and poor little Jimmy is always getting hurt while the other kids are having fun in the snow. Double D and Jimmy team up to start a winter safety club. But after Ed and Eddy join the club, nothing seems to go right.
While neither of these stories are masterpieces, they're rather typical for what a fan would expect from Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. And from whayt I've seen online, the stories seemed to satisfy the fanbase that had been waiting a while for new episodes.
