Hello All, I just wanted to introduce myself. I have been in recovery for 11 years and thought I would check out the forum. Looks like noone has posted in awhile, so if you stop by and reply to this message, you'll know I'm here.

I also have a 12 Step Website friendly to all 12 steppers and a forum. It is called The Sponsors Aide. I will list the webaddresses for you to check out. We have a big upgrade coming up in about 2 weeks so there will be tons more downloads and stuff available, but right now there is ALOT! Check out us there, too!

The Forum I am in the most is Dipping In The Chips. In that forum we work on our Character Defects and Assests. The Story goes that when AA first began, Father John Doe (The first Alcoholic Priest in AA) decided that we shouldn't let all these old poker chips go to waste. He suggested that we list a Character Defect on one side of the chip and Asset on the other. Then, we would pull these each day and work on them, talk about them and journal. That is what we do here.

I visited the The Sponsors Aide website. Good luck with your forum. I noticed the note on the front page that says, "How to have fun in early sobriety with little or no money?" Cooking is great fun and can ge done very little money if a couple of people get together. Food talk and recipes is a great way to bond.
