The weight loss continues!!

Today's numbers:

126.4 lb
26.5% fat
51.5% water
6.1 lb bone
37.6 lb muscle

So you can definitely see I'm not losing water weight here. My water percentage is high and steady. I'm making sure to drink lots of water. I'm losing a nice proportion of fat and muscle together, which makes sense.

I'm closing in on my goal of 125! Once I hit 125 I'm going to do body measurements again (waist etc) to see how those compare with back when I was 140 smile Then those will be my goal going forwards.

Note that last night I had 2 glasses of port, so I'm adding alcohol back in, and with my activity and diet it didn't upset my progress!

I am up half a pound from yesterday so I guess my low carb ice cream or the lentils upset the weight loss. smile

Lisa, where can I find a scale that gives the info you receive? (bone, water, muscle...etc...)

Its okay Jilly, you're still doing well. You don't even have as much as I have to lose, so raise your head and keep up the good work, just be cautious.

Jill remember that people fluctuate by up to 2 pounds every day based on what is "in them". So it could very well be that you'll be down 2 pounds tomorrow, once you fully digest things smile You can never really judge a given food based on one day's results.

Kimmie - my scale is this Taylor scale -

I definitely recommend everyone have a scale that measures FAT in addition to just weight. You really can't tell anything at all with a "weight" measurement. What if you were a bodybuilder and in perfect shape but your scale said you weighed 220 pounds? That might be awesome because it was solid muscle. You need to know how much of you is fat - not just how much you weigh - to get a sense of your health levels smile

Some people really are big boned. If you have a lot of bone and muscle - and little fat - then that is healthy. A "weight" won't tell you that.
