For me meditating is like a gift that I give myself and my life. When I take the time to get quiet, it's almost as if I gain clarity on other things. It's like a breath of fresh air for my soul. Great question.

I adore swinging, and haven't done that for years and years. I have a hammock stand outside but the hammock somehow gets destroyed every year. I guess I should go get myself another one! That's far more likely to happen than convincing Bob to rig up a swing for me on one of our trees ...

Maybe the motion of a swing reminds us of being in the womb.
