My boyfriend was at the store tonight and got me a 100-calorie pack of Ritz stuff. I like them because they're preportioned. However, he also got me a regular box of cheez-its. Normally I'd never eat them, but he discovered that the regular box gave you twice as much as the 100 calorie pack - for half as much cost. So if he "makes" 100 calorie packs for me out of it, using zip-locks, he saves us a TON of money.

I really like the idea of the 100 calorie packs, but that is an amazing price difference!

Have you zip locked up snacks into smaller containers?

When making the zip locs are you putting in the right amount that is equal to 100 calories? And did you compare the other content too?

I did snacks in baggies in the past but not according to caloric content. I think for the chips ahoy you can only have two regular cookies versus maybe 20 of the little things, so it depends if you want a few to chew on and get that crunch going or eat the regular size and control the portion yourself.

Right exactly. For tracking reasons we fill them with 100 calories worth of content smile

The Ritz packs are just Ritz in them. So the content is exactly the same nutrition wise. It's the same volume of food.
