I used to wear an aquamarine ring that I bought for myself. Aquamarine is supposed to symbolise courage, and since I stopped wearing it (because the setting is wearing down and I'm afraid of damaging it further), I don't know if it is all in my head or what, but I don't think I have as much courage as I used to.

A professor I worked for about 14 years ago gave me a card with a little angel pendant pinned inside it. It meant a lot to me because his teenage son was killed around the same time and he took his passing very hard. I went to the funeral and although I didn't know the prof. well, he hugged me and wouldn't let go of me. I got the sense that I meant more to him than I realized. He wasn't a deeply religious person and yet he felt inclined to give me a little angel. I lost touch with him since leaving that job, but I carry that angel with me in the bottom of my purse everywhere I go.

At home I'm quite attached to my crystals, especially while I meditate.

Well, I used to carry around this crystal, in it's natural form that really helped me a lot. I would hold it in my right hand till it was warm then transfer it to my left hand and it seemed to give me a positive energy. I have not used it for years, but with some recent problems I have been having with neighbors, I think I will get it out and use it again with meditation and affirmations.
