A teen in Dover, N.H. was arrested on suspicion of stealing a credit card. Apparently, he was at the house where the credit card was the day before it was reported stolen and the teen allegedly used it at a store and then filled out a job application. The police used the application to track the teen down.

A man in Detroit went to an auto repair shop one morning to rob them. The worker told him they weren't opened yet and couldn't open the safe until the manager got in. So the would-be robber wrote down his name and number on a piece of paper and told the employee to give him a call when the manager showed up for work and then he left. They called him along with the police who were waiting for him when he returned to rob the place the 2nd time around.

A man in Florida put a twenty dollar bill on the counter of a convenience store as if he was going to buy something. He asked for a pack of cigarettes and when the cashier opened up the register to make change, the man scooped the money out of the till and bolted from the store leaving his twenty behind.

His take from the till? Fifteen dollars.

A burglar in the UK left his mobile phone in the house he burgled. The next day he knocked on the door and asked for it back! And the really stupid part: he'd actually stolen a set of house keys, so why knock?

A burglar was breaking into a store from the roof, trying to get thru the skylight. The glass broke when he stepped on it and he crashed down into the store, setting off alarms and breaking an arm in the process. After his arrest, he sued the store for his medical expenses and the pain he suffered.

When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street, he got much more than he bargained for.
Police arrived at the scene to find an ill man curled up next to a motor home trying to steal gasoline and plugged his hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake. yuck
The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges, saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had

Mexico;
A group of drug traffickers cleverly decided to use a propane tanker to cross the border from Mexico to El Paso, Texas.
They released the propane and concealed it within the truck 6,240 pounds of marijuana.
The men did not realize, however that they had misspelled the name od the gas company.
